they say we've changed br changed to get better br from necessity br to luxury br br but what exactly did we, br get better in? br the world has got so fake, that we're dependent br even on the smallest of things br br our elders say 'in our days, br we used to plough our fields ourselves' br they look at us with pity, cramped in flats br after we come groaning after a 2 hour walk br br sanitation and medication has got better br such that, we just get stuck br to the better medicine, br and give a better life to the pharmaceuticals br br flus and poxes, that br haunted the world br have come back again, br to make a point br br that we just get worse br when trying to make life easier br cause when we live easy, br we become as soft and dead as a marshmallow br br not being able br to resist anything br and bring back br the ghosts of the world br br then, when the kids were born with good health br just being vulnerable to the filth outside br but now kids are born with specs, br already weak, an easy prey for the epidemics br br if we really were better, the ones who could to the extreme br we could call ourselves The Generation X br but rather now I guess, br we should be called The Generation Totally-Specsbr br Alen Alexanderbr br
