When I went to school br oh, so many years ago br I remember a girl br who always wore a yellow daffodil. br She wore it in her hair, br spring, summer and fall br and not a day went passed br when she did not wear it at all. br No one knows why she wore it br nor what or whom it was for. br As the years passed br and we went, our separate ways br I often wonder what had became of br the girl who always wore a yellow daffodil. br I hope she had a happy life br with all the things that bring a radiant spring br and that all her dreams came true. br If you ever see a woman br wearing a yellow daffodil br just tell her that this someone br still remembers her from our childhood spring.
