Carolyn Ford Witt - THE EMPTY CHAIR

THE EMPTY CHAIR br br Every Holiday, we're greeted br By that ever empty chair. br Your place is always plated br In hopes that You are there. br br Some say, You weren't invited, br But this day is just for You, br With prayers of thanks and blessings br And this invitation, Oh! So true. br br A table sat for nine br When only eight are there br For this day in our lives, br With You, we want to share. br br And when we laugh, or eat, or drink, br Each moment shared again; br Then I know that You have joined us br And each time.... I say Amen. br br Author: Carolyn Ford Witt br br 12-17-06 br By Ms. Caroline br br br © 2006 Ms.
