Chris G. Vaillancourt - Weeping Heart

Chris G. Vaillancourt - Weeping Heart

I found your grave today. br It was near the path under br a weeping willow. br br I do not know who planted br that tree. It shades your br resting place like br a natural umbrella. br br Your tombstone features br a picture of you, br smiling in your bridal dress. br br I remember that day br so vividly. I wonder if br you can still br remember it too? br br I sat at the foot of your grave. br br Smoked a cigarette. br br Focused on every br memory I still br held of you. br br I am somewhat surprised br at how long ago br you were alive. br br Has it really been br over 20 years br since the day br I watched them br bury you here? br br I am not a grave br visitor by nature. br br This day was an exception. br br I found your grave today. br br The seeds your mother planted br have grown into br perpetual flowers. br br The weeping willow br is an impressive br symbol br of the weeping heart br that buried you.br br Chris G.
