I can't stay here br wrapped up in myths br of a time br I can't forget, yet br cannot take the time br to relive. br br I am expanding in all directions. br And a new world is there br that I have discovered. br br Freedom, liberation which begins br as a word and becomes a way br of existing. br br I survived while others br of my old crowd dried up br and ruined their potentials. br br Fame, recognition. br I don't care for these as br much as some think, and yet, br I care more for them than br they would understand. br br Acceptance. br An odd sort of word. br What if some accept me br and others do not? br br Does it really matter?br br Chris G.
