Dr Kamran Haider Bukhari - Ambivalence

the day before yesterday br I was the same man but an idiot br who wanted to rise above the sky br who wanted to become a better fool br br it was then an old beggar whispered br wisdom comes not by rise in status br serenity is never the need of riches br self realization can’t be achieved br even with billions of dollars br president of a state br might be the poorest person of all br having an empty-apathetic mind br and lost insight br what you are running after Kamran! br can never make you happy and wise br br while walking back home br the words of that poor soul br kept on echoing in my mind br I had to pay the utility bills of this month br but I was thinking about self actualization br eyes of my lost mind were forcefully opened br when my wife asked br where have you been? br you know what time is it? br and look you came home empty handed br you didn’t even bring me matching shoes br my friend’s wedding is in couple of days br but you care for nothing br br I heard her silently and ignored br went to my study room br locked the door then opened my diary br and wrote these words for none other than br myself br br “I know not br whether I was made for a particular purpose br or just to fulfill the duties of a common man br but I know one thing br if I want to live content br then I can’t afford ambivalence br if I choose one br I would definitely lose the other br and if I choose both br I got to keep balance br betwixt the two” br br I got what I needed to do br to mix oil with waterbr br Dr Kamran Haider Bukharibr br
