Vincent James Turner - Stroke

Vincent James Turner - Stroke

When the words left you, br when one average morning br they rammed themselves br into large shuttles br of parting dialect br you bore the look br of suprise br like a lion felled. br br The slack of your mouth br like an overused elastic band br made movements br of comedy. br The spittle worming br from the split of your lip br like frothy milk br down the side of a mug- br Karmas encore. br br You'd refused to move br from your chair br as if to hold the truth br in its physical form br containing it like a raging child br but the dart of your eyes br spoke otherwise. br br How unlike you br not to say a word br how fine to see br the flapping fish of your tongue br motioning nothing br but sporadic slaps br of wet muscle- br br Useless and defunct.
