Dónall Dempsey - ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' LITTLE GIRL LOST IN VINCENT'S BEDROOM

Outside the half shut br shutters br br I am sure br br there must be a 'blue sky br made of raw cobalt' br br but here br inside Vincent's bedroom br br I am lost br in each stroke br br of the brush that br created it br br until an exquisite br little girl br br abandons her br pushchair & Mummy br br and toddles br in front of it br br clambers behind br the protective rope br br & so becomes br a part of it. br br It is as if br she has entered br br Vincent's bedroom br and finding him br br (not there) br br leaves br & leaves br br the presence of br herself br br fleshed into br the paint. br br Art & br Reality br br combining to create br br what now for me br it will always be br br LITTLE GIRL LOST br IN VINCENT'S BEDROOM.
