Jack Williams - Religion and I

Jack Williams - Religion and I

When I was a young pup I made a decision br To fall in love, so I fell for religion br We held hands in church; we chatted at school br For a while we ignored the unfortunate truth: br br Religion and I were never likely to last br I was only fourteen; the age difference was vast br Our values conflicted; we’d never agree br Though we had things in common, we’d never be married. br br Religion and I, we came to an end br We broke it off amiably, agreed to be friends br Though I’ve never looked back, and I’ve never missed her br I’ll always remember the first time I kissed her.
