Fay Slimm - Winter Will Sing.

Fay Slimm - Winter Will Sing.

Without rhyme or reason, your image I thought br in hiding appears, beguiling me, br solely unsought, br and when It's white-warm, br ether-filled persistence, boldly takes hold. br I am momentarily distraught. br br Short bursts of memory waft through the air, br soundlessly, recollection follows me br everywhere, as longing begins br all over again, and eats it's way deeply within. br Ghostly lovelight timelessly fills my mind, br as winter starts singing, and as soon as I hear br yesterdays' verses, I sigh, br as they always taunt me the most. br br I cannot, even with constant trying, br erase you from my soul, br therefore I transcribe this greeting. br br May your dreams too, my dearest friend, br be suddenly invaded, br Up-lit for a while at memory's end, br let them repeat my name to your unwary heart. br Then perhaps you too may find br winter will sing, br and, with sentiment revitalized love may restart br and follow it closely behind.
