I wake up each morning br With another tear stained face br And no matter how hard I try br These tears I can't erase br br I go to school and smile br Just wishing this would end br My smile is slowly fading br Its getting harder to pretend br br I then go off to practice br Where again I'm forced to lie br I just can let them see br The pain behind my eyes br br Then finally I get home br And rush up to my room br And once again I start to cry br And my life is now resumed br br And when the nighttime comes br I'm not sure what i'll do br I try my best to keep myself br From feeling down and blue br br But in the end I cry br Knowing that its wrong br I guess my plan has failed br Showing I'm not strong br br I then reach for the knife br To dull the pain inside br And this I do deserve br For all the times I've lied br I cry myself to sleep br Like I do each night br And as I sleep I wonder br Will I ever win this fight…br br Emily Reidbr br
