Christopher's Dead - Nailed A Photograph To My Heart

She sits there like an angel br Leans her head against her hand br And as her golden locks of soft frayed hair br Drop down like young dry sand br She catches what my glance is to her br Turn away so she won’t see br She seems to peer into my eyes br She sees into my heart’s what she’ll be br br Songs of cellos beauty music br Swarm right through my head just as I br Melt she presses her lips together br My eyes dropp down I start to cry br br For all I’ve seen, why should I believe br That anyone could fall in love with me br How could I let her in just to be broken again br If she sought my love as well, I guess I’ll just wait and see br br I try to comprehend just what it is br That puts these planes inside me br To soar into a cloudy unknown bliss br Two souls in synchronicity br Her flesh a safeguard to her inner br Makeup like a pale blue sky br So innocent to gaze into it br Wonder what might be on the other side br br Love is so much more than you can br Perceive on the surface of a page br The writing’s small and fragile br By candle light I read sweet smell of sage br br And now as all contemporary br Windows to the wound conveying art br Her picture like a brand within me br I nailed a photograph to my heart br br …And till death do we partbr br Christopher's Deadbr br
