Reshma Ramesh - *The language of love

Reshma Ramesh - *The language of love

The dialogues that love broke the silence with br Like the roses that grew on mountains br With the salt from the winter sky br The unabashed soliloquy, even in monologues br They grew noisy like bees, br The string of words tied to my tongue br They mutter an odd dialect of love, br The grammar of silence was hideous br How could you bear something like that? br the language of silence I understood not br It wrote in whispers and spoke in empty pages br Lulled to sleep by the barrage of lyrics br Even the poems looked liked slangs br Just then, at that very second br I remembered silence is just a figure of speech, br And dear when of love we speak br With tongues savoring every move br The eyes measuring, the ears leaning br The eternal night singing br The language of love is after all br The silence br That meanders within…………….
