I'm the supreme empress br and the bestower of prosperity to the devotees. br I'm the omniscient goddess br and the first among the adorable deities. br Gods have borne me in many forms, br me who has entered br in many creatures br and has existed in many places. br br A person who sees, who takes breath br and who hears the word spoken, br verily eats food through me. br They who do not know this, br also remain by my side. br Listen, O Listener! br For you, I'm speaking some thing br filled with sincere faith. br br I myself in sooth speak this br which is endearingly accepted br by gods and human beings. br Whomsoever I wish, br I make him powerful; br I make him a creator; br I make him a seer of incantation, br also make him excellently wise. br br To slay the person br who expresses inimical attitude br towards the hymnal prayer, br I expand the bow for Rudra br by placing his arrow there. br For the worshipper, br I wage battle against the foes. br I've indeed encompassed br all the heavenly region br as well as the mundane world. br br I've created the father, heaven, br over the head of this earth. br My abode of creation br is in the deep waters of ocean. br From there gradually br I've permeated all the worlds br and have touched the very heaven br with my forehead. br br Like Wind, I verily blow br holding all the worlds. br Pervading beyond the heaven, br beyond this earth also, br so mighty I do stand br with my own valour grand.
