' br br Then the music swelled & br the movie ended with a FIN. br br The giants br those icons of celluloid & light br br disappeared br up the stairway of light & dust br br vanished into br the projector room br br like ghosts br returning to the tomb. br br We ventured out br into the bitter cold night br br each of lost br in our own little make believe br br each of us our own Bogey br each of us our own Bacall. br br The giants now br trapped br br forever in our heads br br that last kiss br held prisoner br br in our longings & br desires.
