I am the unknown poet, who strives to speak in rhyme, br to weave the words of human thought, spilling from my mind. br To give a voice to those of us, faceless without names, br to comment on the world at large, or what of it remains. br br I am the unknown artist, who paints in brilliant hues, br the things that no one wants to see, ideas of human ruse. br While searching for reality, within a world of lies, br I'm brushing truths on canvas, unveiling their disguise. br br I am the unknown living soul, trapped within my shell, br seeking signs of heaven, facing those of hell. br A life filled with potential, soon gone without a trace, br who knew that rats were winning, within the human race. br br I am the unknown dreamer, who prays for hope and peace, br imprisoned in a haunted mind, where death will find release. br For now, I am a poet, who no one seems to know.
