Arthur Rimbaud - Flowers

Arthur Rimbaud - Flowers

From a golden step,-- among silk cords, br green velvets, gray gauzes, br and crystal disks that br turn black as bronze in the sun, br I see the digitalis opening br on a carpet of silver filigree, br of eyes and hair. Yellow gold-pieces br strewn over agate, mahogany columns supporting br emerald domes, bouquets of white satin br and delicate sprays of rubies, br surround the water-rose. br br Like a god with huge blue eyes and limbs of snow, br the sea and sky lure to the marble terraces br the throng of roses, young and strong.
