Sheldon Allan Silverstein - Strange Restaurant

I said, 'I'll take the T-bone steak.' br A soft voice mooed, 'Oh wow.' br And I looked up and realized br The waitress was a cow. br I cried, 'Mistake--forget the the steak. br I'll take the chicken then.' br I heard a cluck--'twas just my luck br The busboy was a hen. br I said, 'Okay no, fowl today. br I'll have the seafood dish.' br Then I saw through the kitchen door br The cook--he was a fish. br I screamed, 'Is there anyone workin' here br Who's an onion or a beet? br No? Your're sure? Okay then friends, br A salad's what I'll eat.' br They looked at me. 'Oh,no,' they said, br 'The owner is a cabbage head.
