William Cowper - Olney Hymn 65: Grace And Providence

William Cowper - Olney Hymn 65: Grace And Providence

Almighty King! whose wondrous hand br Supports the weight of sea and land; br Whose grace is such a boundless store, br No heart shall break that sighs for more. br br Thy providence supplies my food, br And 'tis Thy blessing makes it good; br My soul is nourish'd by Thy Word, br Let soul and body praise the Lord! br br My streams of outward comfort came br From Him who built this earthly frame; br Whate'er I want His bounty gives, br By whom my soul forever lives. br br Either His hand preserves from pain, br Or, if I feel it, heals again; br From Satan's malice shields my breast, br Or overrules it for the best. br br Forgive the song that falls so low br Beneath the gratitude I owe! br It means Thy praise: however poor, br An angel's song can do no more.
