Those who die on Christmas Day br (I heard the triumphant Seraph say) br Will be remembered, for they died br Upon the Holy Christmastide; br When they attain to Paradise, br The Angels with the tranquil Eyes br Will ask if Jesus rules on Earth br The Anniversary of His Birth; br This Question do they ask alway br Of those who die on Christmas Day. br br Those who are born on Christmas Day br (I heard the triumphant Seraph say) br Will bring again the Peace on Earth br That came with gentle Christ His Birth; br They may be lowly Folk and poor br Living about the Manger Door, br They may be Kings of Mighty Line, br Their Lives alike will be benign; br To them belongeth Peace alway, br Those who are born on Christmas Day.
