Suicide is a strong word br It tears people apart br It breaks people’s hearts br It makes people cry br Someone dies br Others lose someone they love br People mourn and hurt br All because one person forgot what they’re worth br Tears rain from everyone’s eyes br Loneliness sweeps down upon br those who loved her most br Sweet red roses are laid upon a cold grave br Black dresses and suits create a maze br Leading up to the casket br Where she lays br Her eyes forever closed br Never to cry again br Her frown carefully painted over br So no one will notice how she felt br Before she took her final breath br The people who knew and did their best to stop her br Are filled up with guilt br They think they could’ve done better br They think they could’ve saved her br Her parents weep br They flood the cemetery with tears and pain br They don’t know how they’ll be able pay br They can’t even afford to have her laid to rest br But they’ll make due and hope for the best br She thought it’d be quick br A way out of her pain br Now she’s all alone br Her spirit yearns for her family and friends br She sobs as she watches them mourn over her br She knows how many she’s hurt br She feels like it was a waste br Her ghost peers out from its hiding place br Only to realize how much everyone cares br And that it’s too late br She’s no longer there br She knows it was wrong br Her ghostly voice cracks br Invisible tears fall br She realizes now br That suicide is a strong word.
