Biswajit Ganguly - I Saw Poetic City Life

I saw your back br On a lonely bench of a lover's park, br I saw your soft reflection of smile br On the water surface of a lake in a morning, br I saw your hide and seek play br In the naughty crowd of a shopping complex, br I saw your rush br On the platform of Metro rail, br I saw your amusement br Near a children's park, br I saw your tears br On a sudden boisterous riot, br I saw your enthusiasm br On the big festive days, br I saw your changing trends br Through fashion choices of people, br I saw your attraction br Through the curves of super models on ramp, br I saw your advertisement br On the big hoarding and banner on street crossings, br I saw your politics br On the determined faces of marching youths, br I saw your no-movement br In the traffic jams, br I saw your dynamism br In the rush hour of corporate guys, br I saw your poverty br On jaded clothes of a mother and child sitting on footpath, br I saw your grievances and daily quarrel br In the slums area people living below poverty line, br I saw your ornaments br On upcoming bridges and skyscrapers, br I saw your benevolent attitude br In the fund raising activities, br br I saw your selfishness br In licking an ice cream alone, br I saw your freedom br In dancing with kids in rain, br I saw your flying kisses br On butterfly's wings in my garden, br I saw your chatting with people br In open street cafés, br I saw your soft desire br In a candle lit dinner of a five star hotel.
