The Red Tulips are so captivating-- br And the Dandelions just seem to roar--- br Astonishing Mother Earth-who'd just given birth-- br To the Daffodils only just moments before; br br The Yellow colour is so delightful-- br That it all but drowns out the Buttercups hue-- br Blazing like no other in the Garden---- br They are what give this Garden its majestic view; br br Let us not forget the Crocus standing proud--- br Nor the Violet or Lilac in the Garden Glen--- br A Purple Haze can be sooo insightful--- br Most especially with the Lavender 'round the bend; br br Oh sooo many colours complete it-- br This Garden of the World-upon Gods Green Earth-- br That i simply must take time to express it--- br To say: 'Thank you' for all the flowers most glorious birth! ; br br br 'She slept beneath a tree-- br Remembered by me br I touched her cradle mute- br She recognized the foot-- br Put on her carmine suit br And see' br Emily Dickinson br 1830-1886 br br This is a dedication to: The exibition in New York br 'Emily Dickinson's Garden: The Poetry Of Flowers br At The New York Botantical Gardens in the Bronx Borough br Of New York. It is opening a garden inspired by 19th century poet Emily Dickinson. The exibition runs through June 13,2010.
