Gita Ashok - Chocolate in the Rain

Gita Ashok - Chocolate in the Rain

Dark clouds br loom in the sky; br now the sound of thunder - br breaks the stillness of the evening air. br br A flash of lightning br lights up the dark sky. br A light drizzle at first - br and then a heavy downpour. br br My heart revels… br at the beautiful sight br of the white rain br outside my window. br br And my mouth waters as I see... br a large slab of dark chocolate on the table. br Is this not a little unfair br that it should be just sitting there? br br So I decide to nibble on it… br and marvel at its bitterness. br As I watch the falling rain, I tell myself br I shall eat as long as it continues to rain. br br But it rains for a couple of hours br and the chocolate is no longer there.
