Sadiqullah Khan - Resistance Movement

There was no resistance movement br There was void and a huge empty space br There were few trees and the sun was very bright br There was no one to resist against br br The had left every wall and every street leading br Except to the worship place where some tired persons br Since years washing their faces and feet br Feeling protected from whatever harshness they could feel br br There were no shadows for the poor br There was no one who could pick a straw from earth br A balloon filled with air to fly to unseen heights br There was that little child hiding his head from the heat br And the little girl picking dust on the way br br There was no one to fight with br There were many huge walls and black metallic roads br There was no one to stop them br There was everything to crush them br br Enough had been done br Their souls had left them and their spirits br Looking for the evening meal br Their silent integrity was still holding them back br br Their eyes were speaking of sleepless nights br They were feeling that their bones have been smashed br They were tired of listening to silence br There was no resistance movement br There was no one to fight against br br Some abstract law of nature br Protected them br Something made on earth br br Islamabad br 3152010br br Sadiqullah Khanbr br
