Confessions Of Krishna - 6 br br You thought I was conquering the world br And you believed I was ruling it br But I was wandering in this chaotic world br In search of my only truth - YOU br br But you could not realise it br You could not feel my mind br That is the way the whole world is moulded br To believe men as cold hearted br br But you must try to believe the truth br That I am as soft as the butter br With which we played a lot in our child hood br By spreading it on our faces br br My heart is as tender as the 'Tulasi' garland br Which you knotted with your soft fingers br And garlanded me with your sublime prayers br With your heart and soul so serene br br I am still locked in the dungeon in your empire of love br And I pray you to release me br Crown me with your diamond studded heart br And make me your own king br br I know when you do so br All my sins will be washed away br By the purity of your loving blood br Which will tranqulise me to feel your divine love br br And let me sleep in that ecstatic trance br In your feathery lap with my weary heart br Till my soul rest in peace br Until we have our all new rebirth br br br (This is an imaginary poem written as narrated by God Krishna to his childhood love Radha, to show how sublime and deep his love was.) br br Tulasi- Ocimum sanctum. An aromatic herbal plant used for holy prayers. br Tulasi, which is Sanskrit for the 'incomparable one', is worshiped throughout India, most often regarded as a consort of Vishnu in the form of Mahalakshmi. br There are two types of Tulasi worshiped in Hinduism -'Rama Tulasi' has light green leaves and is larger in size; 'Krishna Tulasi' has dark green leaves and is important for the worship of Vishnu.br br C.N.
