On the banks of Ganges br I sat in a serene and sombre mood br Looking at the playful water br as the wind like a great artist br Draws playful lines and circles br On the water. br br The wind br Tickles the water br And it laughs although I can’t hear. br When the water laughs br And jumps, it moves br In lines and circles br And then rushes swift to the shore. br br I sit there at the shore br With my feet in the water br And watch the lines and circles br Reach and kiss my feet br In reverent love. br br The wind is playful today br And comes to my lips br With a cold feathery touch br And caresses my hair and I feel alive. br It tells me about the sweet words br Uttered by lovers on the shore br Sharing their intimate feelings. br br Tonight I shall dream br Of the symphony of the dancers br And as in a fairy tale br The lovers will come on this shore, br Kiss a thousand kisses br Tell love stories, br Smile and lie on the lap of each other. br br I wish you, lovers of this shore br Bliss, serenity and peace. br Sleep here lovingly br The night through. br Let the glorious moon br Pour it’s mild heavenly light on you. br br Sleep together lovingly in the arms of God.br br Dr.
