An explosion br a rupture br ....oil spills br br br Like the Rivers Of Hades br the black sludge spreads forth br consuming all in its path. br br Our marine animal friends br are smothered and die, br even birds br can't lift their oil-clogged br wings br and fly away. br br Our once golden beaches br become black murky bogs br reeking of death and dsetruction br inaccessible to eveyone. br br br Fishermen have had to br hang up their nets br and hope and pray br the waters will become br clear again br and they can br push out their boats br and fish again. br br And when oil spills br who do we have to blame? br The company that drills br the earth br to suck out the oil? br Or, br ourselves br for our our insatiable br greed and consumption br of natural resources br that can't be replenished.
