Brandon Owens - a once great place

Brandon Owens - a once great place

I remember it as a dream so odd br The way the Mountain rose up high br It touched the faces of the gods br The ones that lived in the sky br They came down in merriment br Climbing to them we went br Attracted by their gift of laughter br We were never the same after br They filled us with divine insight br We hid our faces from their light br They asked if we would obey br The new laws that they gave br It was easy to see they knew best br So what could we say but of course yes br As they left we began crying br We knew that we were in fact lying br In our flesh we were eroding fast br How could such rules make us last br It proved too difficult of a task br And so they never came back br If you go looking for that Mountain br It's now corroded into lost sands br Never again will I see them on Zionbr br Brandon Owensbr br
