Confessions of Krishna - 7 br br Why the morning birds are gloomy and silent br Why the sky is pale and dull br Why the trees are drooping its drowsy leaves br Why the river is dead without a tiny wave br br Once all these birds enveloped the Vrindavan br With blankets woven with their magical songs br The sky was vibrant ever with mystic colors of fantasy br Filled with colorful dreams of love br br The trees bloomed as if spring was always there br Full of bees and butterflies buzzing for nectar br The green grass was covered with fallen petals br Which made soft bed for us to fall and sleep br br I thought every thing was same in my absence br But now I feel a vast difference br And without you I feel weary and dull br Without your love life is sad and still br br When will you come and change all these br Crude realities of nothingness br Caused by the long span of your absence br And turn everything as blissful once it was. br br Through your absence you taught me br The painfulness of separation br The 'Jagath' is always a 'Mithya' br When REALITY IS ALWAYS ILLUSION UNREALIZED br br br (This is an imaginary poem written as narrated by God Krishna to his childhood love Radha, to show how sublime and deep his love was.) br br Vrindavan - The beautiful garden where Krishna and Radha spent their time. br br Jagath - The world br br Mithya - Unreal [ based on the principles in Vedas, everything in the world is 'Maya' - an illusion.]br br C.N.
