Tread lightly, for I am easily broken. br This bleeding heart of mine is more often left open. br Each time I get ready to heal another gash appears. br And there`s nothing left inside me now restraining back my tears. br You can`t fix me, dear, the endeavor is a lost cause. br I can never again be restored to anything close to what I was. br Lines we cross and vacant words we can`t seize back br Will lead us to the inevitable course of jumping off track. br I hate how aloneness consumes relentless sickly sweet. br It leaves me lying as motionless as putrid rotting meat. br How can I have a thing to offer outside this gaping space? br Too little too late are these promises designed to save face. br Breathing has become a struggle I`d rather just give in br To wither and waste away on the wings of oblivion.
