Denise Bekker - ~~*~~ Butterfly ~~*~~

In the freedom of her flight, br that of a cool morning breeze. br She spreads her wings with ease. br Caressing the summer flow, br her vision begins to grow. br br High above the tree tops, br down into the meadow she drops. br Sweet morning dew sparkles. br Unto her the flowery array harkens. br br Twinkling sun rays glitter like gold, br and the cycle of Life remains as it has been told. br The morning sighs with a smile. br Glistening wings, a hue of colour, br it truly does make as a wonder... br br Of what God we serve, O what beauty surrounds us in every curve. br Now upon the meadow field, br the grass ever so green. br The flowery array begins to beam, br with smiling faces they await, br as the butterfly decends, they open as a gate. br br There pollen they do display, br petals, purt and pretty in the month of May. br The union of creation, a new Life reaction. br The cycle of splendor opens the door, br upon this, God can his love pour. br Peacefully she retreats, br accomplished that which she did just greet. br br High in the sky, she does fly.
