lovita j r morang - she sells tea

'she sells tea' br br suddenly a strong smell of tea br lurks my dormant memories... br thoughts from dead bed rise br br I thought still still and still br br Many a hundred times br a serene journey br And my halt in a hut br br where a khasi kong sells tea. br The drizzle outside her hut br And the warmth inside her hut br My whole existence was poised br Between hotness and coldness br serenity in isolation... br from the burning fire br she pours the tea br smoke, fog...warming misty memories br br the red tea in the glass br Dazzling like blood br This glass of tea-a life giver br For the little baby and the lovely lady br Fifteen to twenty glass if sold br For this life, she say, becomes a gold br heartless her drunk man had been… br she is happy now in this serene silence br since then she forgot and had never seen br br the man she loved once.. br br lamenting her angst she would say br br 'breathing now like this is anothe chance...' br Her voices still pierce through the mountains br And echos in the mountains in my mind… br emboldening many a hearts in my heart to kill the gall br br emboldening many a mountains to rise and fall...
