ann rta - Dungeness

It's here where the land meets the sea, br flat, wilderness, desolate in it's beauty. br Pebble-dash shingle, stretches, runs free br for miles and miles. br br It is here where the land merges into sky, br which covers like a blanket over your head. br Colours ever changing, as weathers break by br black to blue, grey to gold. br br It is here where the wind blusters, never still br seagrass, kale, shrubs, cling and defy it. br Tall vegetation, the wind pummels and kills br gusting, rippling, no ease. br br It is here where man has tried to change Nature, br Shacks, pylons litter, march across shingle. br Nuclear power stations, grey, without feature br fail to spoil and just visit. br br It is here where some fear, but others delight, br lonely and empty, barren and wild. br It inspires, it enslaves, its never ending sight br Clouds, openness, no ties. br br It is here where man is an alien being, br Nature supreme, outlasting, outliving. br A place of solitude, peace, calm feeling, br meditate, relax and go free.
