John Knight - *0007 MAD HATTERS TEA PARTY

This poem is dedicated to MARGARET ALICE who (most days) takes on the persona of ALICE IN WONDERLAND to escape the mundaneness and boredom of the real World. br br Come to the Mad Hatter's Tea Party br The table is set out under the trees br Come and sit down - there's plenty of room br Share your repast with the birds and the bees. br br The Mad Hatter's wearing a trio of hats br The Dormouse is asleep - the March Hare is late br The Hatter is talking in riddles br Alice did not know - what of it to make! br br A writing desk - why like a raven is it? ? ? br The Hatter consulted his large pocket clock br Gosh it's two days slow - where does the time go? br He dipped it in tea - a real clock-starting shock. br br Dormouse started a story to tell br Of sisters called Lacie and Elsie and Tillie br Who lived down inside a large treacle well br Learning to draw thing beginning with 'M' - rather silly.
