Acts of my past
The love I just lost
Won't be my last
Sent to help
Others along
While I find the tune
To my own song
It looks like
I'm always there
When no one else
Seems to care
They find solace
Inside my heart
As their world outside
Falls apart
They freely take
Of my love
What others thought
They were unworthy of
Once they feel
Complete again
I'm left behind
With the mark of cain

Me complain
I'm merely paying
For my past sins
