On my way home at night in the car, br I have to travel still a distance, quite far br Thick flakes in the sky causing some fear br praying for safety for me and my family, dear. br br But somehow along the slow ride, br A big joy props up from inside br The peace of the dancing flakes in the night br A feast for the eye, impeccably white. br br Some wonderfully sculpted flakes hit the screen of my car br looking like diamonds, the shape of a star br The heat in my car makes them melt all too fast br How I wish, a little longer they’d last br br With my eyes kept safely on the road, br I cannot keep out of mind the lovely thought br of waking after the night in the midst of an exquisite sight br with branches of trees in a tight dress of bright white.
