Gabe Florsheim - Thieve of Hearts

Gabe Florsheim - Thieve of Hearts

In the dark of lonesome night br She rode her sanctioned amber steed. br Her song; a hymn to lonely hearts br Romance, now, so barely seen. br br He said to me: 'Be swift, be sound br When riding out with Amber near.' br The Thieve of Heart has painted crowns, br Her words have brought strong men to tears. br br And so the wind, my fateful friend, br Fought hard but I pressed fatefully on. br The clamor of hooves beneath my feet; br My weary heart must weigh a ton. br br Until that day I'd known through myth, br But eyes make better sights than mouths. br And when my eyes set sights on this, br My heart's lost key was forever found. br br Her grace; unmatched; a thing of legend. br Her mien; so sweet; innocence abound. br Atop the waves of chocolate dreams br Sat the mythic painted crown. br br Alas! I've loved a solitary angel. br The force of nothing can hold apart. br But life is worthless; with knots and tangles, br For I've fallen for a Thieve of Heart.
