Saint Eule - The Picnic Table

Saint Eule - The Picnic Table

Left in the elements through the winter, br Often unremembered but for a splinter. br br Yet in the summer the family will have a need, br For their sandwiches and pies on me to feed. br Next to nature beneath the trees, br Amidst the pest, the flies, the bees. br br Laughter and song a family affair, br The sun shine and the cool fresh air. br The coleslaw and soda splash on me. br What a time for a picnic table to be. br br Winter comes again her snow white covering, br My memories of laughter till the new spring.
