Brandon McConnell - Coyotes

Triplet coyotes br From the day of their birth br Desired the moon br And all it was worth br br Providing them light br So at night they could see br Any dangers ahead br And be able to flee br br All three loved the moon br And each soon decided br Too precious to share br Was the light it provided br br The coyote first born br Snuck into night br And sang to the moon br With all of his might br br Assured by the usual br Glimmer it gave br He felt quite accomplished br And returned to the cave br br The youngest coyote br The next night awoke br And danced for the moon br As he quietly spoke br br His sweet words of love br Were followed by light br The moon clearly pleased br So he called it a night br br The last coyote br Woke up from a dream br Of the peaceful moon br And its wonderful gleam br br He walked outside br And sat on the ground br Gazed up at the moon br Its beauty profound br br All three coyotes br Thought it had ended br They'd won the battle br Performances splendid br br That next night they waited br The moon did not show br They stayed there for hours br Then decided to go br br All day they bonded br Coyotes of three br And again that night br The moon, they could see br br Each one pondered br Where it had been br But it didn't matter br They would not fight again br br They learned to appreciate br More things in life br Than a brilliant moon br That would just cause them strife br br So together they sat br Those brothers of three br Under an Oak Tree br Bonded and freebr br Brandon McConnellbr br
