Patti Masterman - A Bear Came To Dinner

Patti Masterman - A Bear Came To Dinner

A bear came to dinner; br He ate before the bell, br He didn't use his napkin, br I am here to tell. br br He didn't cut his steak, br Neatly; with the knife, br And licked his mashed potatoes br Off the plate- it was not quiet. br br He didn't wait for prayers, br He didn't pass the bread- br But balanced it, most perkily, br Atop his brown-bear head. br br His manners more atrocious, br Than any I have seen; br But heavens, I'm so grateful br He didn't just eat me.
