Michael Micmac Mccrory - A Sonnet for Noireen

I saw you across a crowded room br I fell in love br I had to write you a sonnet br My heart went vroom vroom vroom br I asked for your hand br I won it br br All the eyes were on us br As we glided across the floor br The ladies Cooed br The men cussed br All full of envy br As we danced more and more br br We danced slowly br We danced swiftly br The ladies bowed so lowly br The men minced so shifty br We were too busy in love br Our steps as one so nifty br br So let the music of love play on br Let the fiddler’s bow be long br As you danced like a swan br All the world stood outshone br As the crowd looked upon br At we two dancing as one br br I thank the lord above br For being in that room br When I fell in love br As my heart went vroom vroom vroom br I asked for your hand br I won it br br It’s been a few years now br My heart is still soaring br To you the perfect muse br I offer this humble sonnet br To one: in all ways so beautiful br To Noireenbr br Michael Micmac Mccrorybr br
