Peter Vector - A Lone Summer Midnight

Peter Vector - A Lone Summer Midnight

The warm summer air is thick with sound br The noise of cricket chirping and owls cooing br While in the darkness I rest under ivy pillars on the ground br I look out to see the dim world with the night time pursing br br Life on this midsummers night is just a play br I am on the stage as one of the tragic cast br With no where to call home, always roaming, no place to stay br And the audience are the people of my past br br I look across the river and see the dots of light br People in their warm houses resting br While I am here, in the black velvet of night br And at this hour, peace is all I should be requesting br br Under the moonlight sky the night passes by br And so the moments slowly diebr br Peter Vectorbr br
