April Avalon - Reminiscence

April Avalon - Reminiscence

I miss the tune of my ringtone br That no one except us knew; br I went to bed with my cell phone br And dreamt of hearing from you. br Your voice became my sole salvation, br Your breath - the sweetest lullaby. br I miss the waiting at the station, br Observing people passing by, br And then - your smile, a hint to linger br To have a menthol cigarette br I took from cold yet gentle fingers... br And guess what happens in my head br At times I drink that lemon beer br Or white plum wine, or cold ice tea. br I'm holding those mornings dear br And keep all memories with me.
