Death is not the end of life br It's just a brief journey and a drive br That takes loved ones to see the Lord br And meet with our compassionate God br br So we must be prepared for that day dear br And tell loved ones not to dropp any tear br For everyone's life will flash before the eye br So we must work hard to make it a worthwhile try br br For people who die only leave br To meet again one day after a brief br Pause and a break with joy, smile and cheer br And welcome others to live in heaven dear br br I miss my dad very much everyday br But I know his prayers are always in my way br And all those moments when joy we gathered br By playing and praying and smiling together br br I'm sending him my love and prayers today br And know he is basking in the bliss of God's way br And enjoying rewards from his good deeds bowl br For his kindness, greatness and for being a gentle soul br br He spread so much love with his smile br He washed fog and mist all for a while br And always showed bright rainbow hue br To all whom he truly loved too br br I miss him but know that he is there br His nice advice and his words of cheer br All guide my life and my way br Until we meet again in heaven one day.
