VIPINS PUTHOORAN - Secluded Island

Oh, the white feathered clouds, br Where are you floating invisible, br While I outroaring for you? br Why do you change your colour of feathers, br From white to dark at twilight, br Fledge my life, br As I am stagnated here in a secluded Island. br I was an indolent ship, br Sailed over the ebb and flow of waves, br Disobedient to the buoy. br I sailed my nautical miles, br Without a captain with a compass on my deck. br Pirates of blue sea abused me, br As they found nothing valuable inside me. br But the soul of my own sailor lost in salinity. br And I struck in a rock of a secluded Island. br Where my wrecked soul screamed turbulently. br That awakened a love bird in that lonely land, br With broken wings and beady eyes, br She too floated but in the sky, br Without any companion and aim br Disobedient to the cyclone and clouds br She too became a prey of pride like me br We solaced each other and lamented br We shared our hopes together br For a steady life in the flow of life. br I promised her that, br I would show her a new shore br And she swore me that, br Her beady eyes would guide me br To that celestial shore of love. br Blessing is always pouring from heavens br As eternal like the cosmic truth. br So we prayed looking up to the sky. br Oh, the gloomy clouds let wet us, br Wet us with your graced rain, br Which filled in your soul. br Submerge the land where we fixed. br We no longer want a secluded Island, br Where there is no companion and peace br We want to sail to a celestial shore of love...
