VIPINS PUTHOORAN - *Blessings*

VIPINS PUTHOORAN - *Blessings*

I gazed at a candle light in twilight br Burning under the baluster of a churchyard br And its fluctuating flame in soft breeze, br Can be withered its wick in a wildwind. br But I see white doves too under the eaves br Fluttering its wings and muttering murmur. br Thou' the Priest preaching about salvation, br At the red-carpeted pulpit. br Th' Chevaliers are still indulg'd in the rain of words br With their fluid-filled ears and vacant hearts br Lo! Heart of man is the art of God. br But his sculptured mind is fading its purity. br Tho' blessings from God is still flaming for us br Our heart is always searching for darkness br And if you ne'er come closer to get the light br That burning for you and me, br It will be melted like the candle.
