VIPINS PUTHOORAN - § Footprints §

Once I searched for salvation everywhere br With my blind mind and sinful heart br Through the breast of this secluded land. br But salvation was smiling at me br Because of my wickedness was myriad. br On the spur of a moment I fell down in a swire br Of this kaleidoscopic world br Between my sin and my life. br Where I lost the chastity of heart br And virginity of my soul. br And became broken and sectile. br None knew my lamentation then br I wished for a cherubic heart once. br But the voracious mouth of sin engulfed me. br Or I bowed my head before him. br Everytime I wanted or tried to see an azure sky br But never I saw a blue sky in the rest of my life. br Hark! if you follow my footprints br Which I left here in the abyss of sin. br Or if you walk through it br You'll reach here in a nadir like me. br And we cannot open our mouth here.. br We will be enchained here, br Among the blood sucking vermin br Of a sulphurous hell, br Unlike we lived our past in a world. br Myriapod will crawl through your nostrils br And no one will hear your growl. br Myrmidons of the hell will beat you, br With the edge of sledge hammer in your head br For the grudge once you showed br To the downtrodden people of the earth. br Your flexible body will melt in a crucible br There the demons would be filling- br Your mouth with embers br For you'd never fed a pauper in your life-time. br The evil will whip on your back with an anchor. br Where you cannot fight with them br Alone or together..... br But surely that's a frightful sight. br Where you'll not have a life or death in hell.
