All these poems about poems br Where do they lead? br br The world is so rich in so many other things br Write poems about them. br br At twilight I look out br At strangers walking br To do their errands of preparation br for Sukkot. br br A poem should have some Beauty in it br And not just be an effort at recording observations- br br The scarlet bright flowers rage at me from the distance br I cannot translate their Beauty to words - br br There is so much I have seen br And so much I will never write – br And so many Poems beyond my Imagination. br br All these poems about my failing at poetry br And about translating the Beauty of the world to words- br br This is a poem I not know how to properly finish.
