The leaves of autumn are brilliant again br as they've been before. br They will shine for a while and start their fall, br fluttering to the floor. br The earthly floor accepts each one br and as we look around br we gather the rakes and blowers br to get them off the ground. br br Why do we feel we must interrupt br all that nature does? br We change her scene and presume to know br all there ever was. br Well, maybe Mother Nature knows best br what we do not know, br like how she'll send the winds of fall br to let the leaves all blow.
